SBP   extended expiry dates of the "Financing Facility for Storage of
        Agricultural Produce (FFSAP)" and "Refinance Facility for
Modernization of SMEs"

The State Bank of Pakistan has extended expiry dates of the "Financing
Facility for Storage of Agricultural Produce (FFSAP)" and "Refinance
Facility for Modernization of SMEs" and these facilities would be
available till further instructions in this regard.


A circular of the Central Bank issued on Tuesday said that in this
connection it is advised that State Bank of Pakistan has extended
expiry dates of the "Financing Facility for Storage of Agricultural
Produce (FFSAP)" and "Refinance Facility for Modernization of SMEs".

These facilities will be available till further instructions in this
regard and the Refinance limits already sanctioned in favour of
selected banks/DFIs under above Facilities will also continue to be
available till further instructions.

They can also apply for enhancement of limits after utilization of
their existing limits.

Further, other interested banks/DFIs, may also apply to IH&SME Finance
Department for sanctioning of fresh limits under the Facilities.

It added that other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
